Hope you had a great Xmas & New Year festivities, thought best to post to let you know I’m still around. As you may have noticed the Facebook photo section continues to grow here ( started on 2017 last week ).
Due to this early sunshine, went for a couple of short walks this weekend, yesterday in Waring Park surprised by the full play swing area. Today visited Lamorbey Park did my ‘figure of 6’ walk some photos below. Getting a “Hi !” or “Afternoon” is still a hardship from most people, perhaps they see me as a menace to society lol !

Xmas is coming !
Back from a short shopping trip in Sidcup, as you (just) see the lights are up in High Street & Station Road area. Sidcup had its annual Xmas celebration but I missed due to lack of advertising or communication. My Facebook page has over 1k followers, someone could have brought it to my attention ? I discovered another Sidcup site here at WordPress and they had all the details in November !
As you noticed more photos are being added from Google+ ( closing ) & Facebook.

As you know the clocks went back an hour (BST) on Saturday night, an early damp Sunday visit to Lamorbey Park which was quiet in places – quite a few baby chairs with parents. As soon as I returned home the sun reappeared. Today it’s sunny & fresh. So I’m no weather guide for good weather.

You may also know that Google Plus is closing I used to have two photo collections about Sidcup & local area. I have already moved one My Town here and plan to do the other My Local in the future. Hate to see related photos wasted.

Should never moan about the sunny weather but it’s hot. Took a short walk around King Georges Playing Field on Sunday before big World Cup match.This area is home to many weekend soccer matches. Seen on your left as leaving on your Sidcup train to London.

After some supermarket shopping a sunny walk around The Green taking in Manor House & Sidcup Place. The latter has re-opened (seen below) under new ownership as ‘The Star at Sidcup Place’.
